To get XUnleashed to work with SWG I have to turn off the TCP/IP sniffer, Triggers, and Scripts (which is really ok because I don't believe I use any of them). But I am still having problems.
I can run a macro (Macrotest) which just moves the mouse around, but can not record. When I record, the F12 key seems to fail. When I hit F12, it freezes my mouse wherever it is and won't allow it to move (although it may appear to move, it is frozen in one place). The only way to free up the mouse is to hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete. This brings up my Windows Security screen and frees up my mouse movement.
Even after this, the macro recording has not stopped. If I bring up the Macros plugin it says "RECORDING MACRO" even though I've hit F12 at least a dozen times. The only way to get out is to quit the game.
Quitting causes errors too. I get two memory errors everytime I shut the game down (but don't get any if XUnleashed is not running).
Has anyone else been experiencing these issues? It has been happening since patches have been working on the scripting issues.

What OS are you running? If you are running Win98/ME you may be having compatibility problems with some installed software. I suggest upgrading to WinXP.
If you are running a firewall/Anti-virus program, turn it off and see if that helps.

I am running Win2000 with Norton Antivirus. I attempted turning Norton off, but that did not help. It seems to be that the mouse actually freezes when I hit the Record button.

yes, i can playback the test macro macro that came with XUnleashed. This is only useful to keep me from going AFK though. I really want to set up a crafting macro.

All I can think of is that your anti-virus program is still causing it to lock up the computer. You can try uninstalling the software and see if it makes a difference. It is possible that with the dll's still loaded in memory even if you have the real time protection off, could be causing it.

I uninstalled Norton Antivirus and finally got Xu working again. Does this mean that I can't have a virus protection software set up on my system ever if i want XU?
Thanks for all your help.

I think it is just a setting on your anti virus program that is causing it. You will have to play with it, and please let me know if you find what setting fixes the problem.

If you can't find the right settings in your Anti-virus program, that doesn't mean you have to completely uninstall the software. You can open the task-manager (ctrl+alt+del) window and make note of all the processes that are running in it. Then install and run your anti-virus program. Again, open the task-manager with the Anti-virus running in the background and make note of the processes that have been added by it. Go ahead and manually terminate those processes, that will effectively unload the anti-virus software but you can run it again soon as you are done playing and want to surf the net again or something. At least that's what I do. Hope that helps.
