Ok , just installed XP on my old machine
Dell
XBS-br1000 1.0 P3 processor
512 700 RDRAM
Geforce 2 64meg Hercules Card
7200 rpm drive
I disabled all the wizbangs on windows to free up as much resources as possible.
Fresh install of DX9.0
SWG runs really well. All options and eyecandy off.
Soon as I run the tool I get sever Mouse lag. So bad that I cannot make a good macro. Program does work and will record , but its impossible at this time with the amount of "video lag?" or something.
Any help would be great, so I can get these macros running on this machine, and not tying up my main machine where I prefer to play my main account.

From the posts on the account, I have read it helps to macro looking at the ground. The only lag that is being recorded is WHILE recording. The playback of the macro is fine. We are looking into the cause of the lag on some machines while recording. We cannot reproduce the lag, so it makes it difficult to track down. Try recording a keyboard only macro, and see if the lag is still there, then try a mouse only. See if one or the other lags more than the other.

Ive posted a response to this problem before and ill kind of revamp what I said before. Please remember I am making an assumption and and do not know for a FACT that i am right.
Having said that, SWG FPS(Frames per Second) maximum is 30. That means if you have the best computer out there with the best video card and terabytes of RAM you only going to get 30 FPS under optimal conditions.
SWG is very CPU and RAM intensive. I have 1 Gig of PC2700 DDR with a AMD 1900+ and an MSI nVidia FX5600. Not too shabby but hardly top of the line and i rarely get higher than 25 FPS with a lot of the eyecandy off and never higher than 15-20 in the city. Your system is barely over the minimum. 933 Mhz is the minimun and your only 66 Mhz over that. You have double the RAM, but its RDRAM not DDR, and your video card is several generations old. Yes your playing, but just barely.
First thing you want to do is find out your FPS. Try pressing <ctl> + O to bring up your "options" screen, then clicking on the "miscellaneous" tab and then "show network status". This should bring up a small window that will not only show you your FPS but you network lag and bandwith as well.
I bet you are trying to do a macro in an open area or in the city. What you need to do is go INTO a building. Check out your FPS outside and compare it to inside the building. I bet you jump up at least 25-30%. Now find a nice secluded corner and look at the floor in first person view. The less your video card has to draw the less strain on your CPU and RAM. Best areas I have found are in cantinas on the opposite side of where all the entertainers are or your or someone elses house. Houses seem to work better for me.
Take a Look at your FPS before you do the next step.
Open your Inventory and look at all that nifty spinning items. Well look at the FPS drop that all that nifty spinning stuff causes. To get around this adjust your inventory so that only your crafting tools(you do use more than one right?) are showing.
Now its time to make your macro. It might not be speedy but i bet you its a hell of a lot better.

Or don't even use your inventory, I have my crafting tools all hotkeyed. so it's just f1 to satart a crafting session enter click resources enter 5 times then f2 for another crafting tool etc. Works like a charm.
