Im sure plenty of people already know this and Im not sure if this should go under guide or here, but ill post anyways.
Everyone knows that if you run around alot you can lose agro from an NPC. Well there is a way to lose agro without running all over the place and possibly agroing other NPCs.
Just stay in one spot and continually press the A,W,D, and S buttons. I do it in that order and it works perfectly for me and others I know. It doesnt have a 100% chance of working, more like an 80%.
If you have any trouble figuring it out just tell me what you are having trouble with and Ill try and explain in better detail.
PS: Make sure your chase camera is turned off!

Well IMO i would say nay that its an exploit. Its a build in game mechanic thats been around sinc ethe NGE. If you move out of the aggro radius of an NPC, meaning you are in a spot where you wouldnt normally draw aggro from them or you are high enought that they woudl not aggro and you do not attack you for a while they evade and go back to their spawn location.
So the issue is not so much that your run around in circles as it is that you simply stop attacking them and they evade.
If you dont want to fight something, stop attacking it and get far enough from its spawn location that it wont re-aggo you if it does evade. Moving around gives you a % less hit chance so my moving around the mob will hit you fewer times before it evades back to its spawn location.

I've tried this, and it doesnt seem to work, unless you run far enough away, but usually as you enter a new cell or reach the end of their agro range, they lose agro after a few seconds anyway. (Large structures are made up of cells).
Inside the DWB you have around 80% chance to lose agro, with or without the circles, if you know where to run and dont shoot back. Things change if you start attacking, the agro range seems longer.
Nay from me.

i've been testing this extensively in the DWB... works like a charm. I can run into a group of 8 or so with saber block up. Kill who i need to then just hit wasdwasdwasdwasd in bout 8 seconds i lose all agro. Try it with auto attack off.

Yay. I have done this a lot of times to save myself in PvE.
Only time it does not work for me is if I put a DoT on the mob.
