This is intended, the decoy is supposed to take all the damage directed at the spy. I use it on my spy all the time, don't even have to have the cloak for decoy, just call 'em and it'll take all the damage, even if it's AoE.

Thank you for your 1st post contribution, but unfortunately you're wrong and I'm right, its not intended and is an exploit

I don't think you're being fair by saying "Thank you for your 1st post contribution" i mean, he's making a point ok im not saying if it is right or wrong, but no need to flame him for only having 1 post count.

You give such a compelling argument there. Here's mine..
Quoted directly from the spy expertise page, one point in decoy "Creates a decoy that will draw attacks away from the spy". When used in PvE decoys does a taunt to the mobs attacking the spy, thus drawing attacks away from the spy. To give it a use in pvp, the Devs made decoy that when used in pvp, whoever is targeted on the spy will automatically target the decoy, and all damage will go to the decoy.

Unfortunately "drawing attacks away from the spy" and not taking any damage at all is two completely different things. I'm going to have to say that you're wrong swgz. Now if this actually does work well then let's get some yays in here. But I'm quite sure that it was never intended that the spy takes no damage while the decoy is out. A simple test would be for two friends to duel eachother friend one (not the one decoying) autoattacks the spy (friend two). Friend two uses decoy, while friend one is forced to target the decoy. Friend one then stops attacking decoy and attacks friend two again and if friend two takes no damage well then there's your yay.

Actually guys, I apparently maybe wrong, just saw a thread on the spy forums where the spy senator says it's a bug, although the ex-spy senator tells me it's intended. So, who knows. Anyways, expect this to be fixed pretty quick if it is not intended now as it's on the official forums. Without this, decoy will be pretty !@#$%^&*.
/yay

It is not an exploit and should be moved to guides.
