First off, you must go to the Weapons Development Facility on Naboo. Be Combatant (or use /pvp).

When you get there find a spawn of enemies and have a good weapon equipped.

Center the camera above your head so you are looking down in a birds eye view. Kill the imperial npcs in that area. Now you should be positioned correctly. What you need to do is tie your left mouse button down, putting something heavy, tying with string or a rubber band and much much more works. This will serve as basically an auto-fire.

If all worked right when the next group spawns your character should automatically begin firing and killing the imperial npcs. Leave your computer on all night for this to grind the maximum amount of faction points.

Tips for making this auto faction grind the best it can be!

1) Use a Heavy Weapon like Lava Cannon or Rocket Launcher if availible (works very good, thats what I used)
2) Make a macro such as (Macro Title Yawn, Macro /yawn; /pause 100; /macro Yawn. ) This way you are not kicked offline due to auto afk or whatever you wish to call it.
3) Check to make sure your positioning is perfect otherwise it might not work.

Good Luck, let me know if you have any questions

Yes this is a widely used place to grind faction. Its different faction depending on server you are on.

Everyone got a free area attack weapon with publish 27 (nickel plated targeting pistol) and as damage is based of character level, not weapon you can use any low level AOE weapon to kill these rebels.

Afk macro is better of as /mood none; /pause 400; So its not constantly spamming the area and showing you afk to everyone.

You can get around 10FP every 30mins this way. Its widely known tip and for grinding faction. Still a good tip.

Unfortunately I would have to say nay to this as well. I use a much more complicated macro-ish thing in which im running around shooting imperials, using specials, and looting them all while I'm AFK. Also I have seen other rebels using the method mentioned above with a Heavy Weapon and so I "have my ways" of getting the imperial NPCs to kill people who AFK like this

lol, ya maybe if you had a heal and AOE macro going then maybe you wouldnt die. The people I usually get killed while AFKing are shooting like lvl 25 NPCs, but ALOT of them (10-12). I dont believe they use a heal macro though and they were just standing there spamming a HW. (I get a sense of satisfaction after I kill them lol)

Anyways, as for the running around, you can just do /follow (NPC Name) and you will follow the nearest NPC of that type. It usually works best in an open area, and yes sometimes you will just stay running into a rock or wall or something, but it makes it look a bit more like you aren't AFK (unless you do end up hung on that rock lol).

I usually dont do stuff AFK, I just sit at my keyboard watching my char do the stuff for me lol :D
