AFK Pet Grind Macro's and guide. : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

So, after the release of the last patch and the nerf to the instant respawn npc's at areas such as dearic, I've had to try different locations to try and pet grind and i've found that currently the best place for this is the first Dantaari POI on dantooine.

Because I'm a medic, I tend to find its best to AoE heal with my macros as it catches my pet, I also have a bacta ampule on a 10 second recharge which keeps my pet alive.

The trick to this area is to have your PET grab the aggro. By using a macro with the cycleTargetOutward command, you are able to grab all of the npc's with your pet using the attack command, located on the first space on the pet's bar and bring them to where you're standing.

/ui action petToolbarSlot0;

This macro attacks the npc's which are located on your screen, which means that if you zoom out, you will be able to drag more NPC's because you will beable to SEE more.

I then use the following macro to make sure my pet stays in range of my heals:

/ui action petToolbarSlot1;
/pause 1;
/macro (name)

This uses follow to keep my pet near me and im able to successfully heal it.

Other macros i use are typical heal macros, Bacta spray on 1

/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 21;
/macro (name)

I also use bacta jab macro to keep myself heal incase I cause aggro and I also have a macro to use Nerve gas if i want to help with damage.

This works best if you are grouped with others, and if you manage to get into a group of atleast 3 lvl 90's and your pet is below level 74, then i advice you to use Mark 1 supplement stims to boost the xp gain and to NOT ATTACK. If you just use heals and dont attack, your pet will gain full xp + the ammount added on by the Supplement stims.

Its much better to do this as a BH, Commando or an officer due to the larger damage output. Medics are better of being used to heal which is why I tend to try and group myself.

This is also a good way to level an alt, but again try to get into a group.
