awesome way to figure out deleted forum stuff : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

Ok, now I need someone to help me out further with this... as its not complete but I do hope I still get partial credit =D.

Ok now say your on a forum and... its an exploit and gets deleted?

well google comes in handy.. ill find it eventaully but someone please help out.. there is a code you type where its searching a certain cite (IE swg forums...) and it will search only THAT SITE... now say an exploit or post goes bye bye?

then google the code with what you are searching for (IE... name of the post... duh)

then it will show it.. ahh but if u click the link its deleted right? WRONG...

look below that search.. it will say "cached" as a link (might have to enable in google prefs)

CLICK THAT SUCKER!! its an old version of a page thats stored with google.. you can only view THAT PAGE nothing else is activated on it (IE links etc..)

It may take a day for it to work after the post is deleted but... if you want secret info... use the cache baby..

You're asking us how Google Cache works and if you can use it to search for deleted forum posts?

Usually the exploits on the offical forums get deleted in under a minute. Not long enough to be cached.

Plus you need to know what you are searching for, and if you know that, then its likely you have read it already.
