Part of this has been posted for the Marksman profession but I have added something else for Scouting EXP. If you are a Newbie this is a nice and easy way to gain some Marksman and Scouting Exp while you are afk (away from keyboard). Use this when you are sleeping or when you are at School or Work. This works if you are just a Marksman or a Marksman and Scout. This works for any of the 3 Marksman weapons Rifle, Carbine or Pistol. The first thing you are going to want to do is find yourself a real easy mob outside of a city. For Example, start in Mos Eisley on Tattooine. That is where I have been doing this. Exit the city and you should find a bunch of creatures, mostly Worrts, Rills, Lesser Swamp Rats and things of that nature. These are the creatures that you should start out with. You'll also need to make sure that your character can handle these mobs. This wont work if keep dying right away. You will also need a decent weapon. Your starting weapon probably wont do the trick. So you may need to do some missions and make a little money to buy a good weapon. I have been doing this with a Snub Nose Carbine that does between 118-220 damage, so I really have no problem doing this at all. Kill a few of the creature and see where they respawn. Once you have the respawn area determined move away about 20 to 30 meters from the spot and make sure that you are facing the exact spot where the creature respawn. Now we are going to set up your combat Macro. Check out the Macro guide on this website if you are unsure what Macros are. Place your Macro icon in the first box of your Toolbar. Remember, the Macro commands are case sensitive so make sure you write yours exactly as I have.

/ui action cycleTargetOutward
/attack
/pause 45
/ui action toolbarSlot00

What this Macro does is automatically target a creature in your field of view and attack it until it is dead. Then if will go on to the next creature. Everytime you kill a creature you will gain weapon exp and comat exp. By the time you wake up in the morning you'll have a ton of Exp.

This next Macro is basically the same but if you are a Scout this will help you get scouting exp buy harvesting resources from the creatures you kill. Write your macro like this.

/ui action cycleTargetOutward
/attack
/pause 45
/harvest
/ui action toolbarSlot00

You will not be able to harvest from every creature that you kill if they fall dead too far away from you. If they die withing 10 to 20 meters from your character you should be able to harvest resources from them. *Note* If you are using this on NPC mobs, you can change the harvest command to /loot since you cant harvest resources from NPC's but you can take all their money and loot. Same rules apply though if the NPC falls dead too far away from you. You will not be able to loot their corpse.

As you advance in your profession and start to be able to handle more difficult mobs you can eventually replace the /attack command with your more powerful speacial abilities for example:

/ui action cycleTargetOutward
/healthshot1
/legshot2
/mindshot1
/pause 45
/ui action toolbarSlot00

Hope this helps out some of you Newbies.
