All right since my coding find was apparently known (new here), going to throw out another secret.
I am sure you have all had times where you are dead but need to remain, maybe a death in a place where the victory would give you a quest reward or just let your alt's corpse sit in restuss to recon for the Hand, or watch over a base on Corellia. There are plenty of uses.
Create a macro named "anticlone" which fires off your ui action, I use the following:
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause .4;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/pause .4;
/ui action toolbarSlot02;
/pause .4;
/ui action toolbarSlot03;
/pause .4;
/macro anticlone;
Make sure that your first through fourth toolbar spots from the left are filled with some firable attacks, you can change the macro name if it matches the last line.
Trigger this before you die, I believe it also works if you trigger after death. The toolbars will fire continuously and your clone timer resets. You can sit like this with 30 minutes on your clone timer for days and days.
You can check if this works by creating the macro, putting 4 firable commands in the first 4 spots, dieing and waiting 5 minutes. You will notice that the timer never goes down to 25minutes but constantly refreshes at 30.
Hoping for a decent membership so I can help build a runescape forum as well as dish out more SWG hints.

Actually the game has designed a 30 minute timer before an auto clone takes place.
By removing this we are exploiting a point of the game to manipulate it to our wishes, which is what makes it an exploit. If you have alts it is rather useful, leave one in a base you are watching over and check back every few mins to see if things are still as planed, if not, be the first to know. I like it.

Nay, as stated there are easier ways to reset timer, such as just hitting the escape key every 25 minutes or so, and there are FAR easier ways to do the things you mentioned (ever hear of the Spy profession).
