Want the rewards of fishing without the boredom? Try this:
1. Try and have a 100% fishing pole and go get a luck buff from an
entertainer.
2. Go to Lower Naboo (waypoint -273 -6359 has no vegetation and ****
fishing). Any fishing place will work - you just have better chances
this way.
3. Stock your Fishing pole with a stack of 100 or so bait. I find that the
chum bait works really well - but use whatever.
4. Make 2 macros:
-----------------------
1. Title - Fish1
/fish;
/pause 150;
/macro Fish1;
2. Title - Fish2
/ui action defaultButton;
/pause 6;
/macro Fish2;
-----------------------------
Hit them both at the same time. You will have to come back to clean
up your inventory. Also, dump your macro's when you're fileting your fish
then restart. A guildie showed me how to do this and I thought I'd
pass it along. Works on any planet - not just naboo (of course!)
Don't delete or alter your inventory when the macro is running because it won't fire off the macro to start the fishing process. I would have put this in submissions but I don't think you put macros in there
One more thing - won't work without the entertainer buff. I don't know
why - they told me but it went over my head.

Please post if this worked for you. I've completed my collection and have gotten some junk and a couple of treasure maps.

It actually didn't work for me for some reason. I activated both macros, went to exact location and used 100% rod with chum. Now when i came back to find no more bait and nothing new in inventory I foraged a bit and manually used tug up constantly which would be the default option. And the first thing that happened was I cause a piece of fish tank. So I think you got the timing wrong on the fishing actions.

okay - try pause 150... because some of the fishing takes longer than others. So I moved mine to pause 150 and it worked just fine. The second macro worked as well. I did this today and got a TON of things like a treasure map, rare fish, bubbling stone, etc. Though this was with 150. With 125 only had a few things - will tell guildies.

As with nearly all the "ingame" macros the timeing is so individual that you basically have to tweak it yourself...
If using that and it dont work, try increasing / decreasing with a incrimation of 5... when you get better results, try increasing / decreasing with less.. like 1 or 2.. untill you got it perfect for your machine, your ISP and whatnot else

Ok I got it working. Not perfect I would say, but definitely better than sitting there all day. I'm almost done with two collections from that very spot on Naboo. Yay

I just wanted to add that you don't need to do that VERY spot... just as long as you get a bunch of stars on the fish and 1 or none on the vegetation. On any planet. I've gotten a BUNCH of bubbling stones and those sell well. The rare fish sell well too. I've gotten several treasure maps. I just gave that spot as an example.
and if you're a member and this has worked for you... please post your yay - thanks!

Ok, id like to add that if you go anywhere along a shallow shore as that in naboo, find a spot you like, go aprox 6m out in the water and TURN AROUND, and face the shore..
Now in this position, faceing the shore, try to be no closer then 4m, but not further then 6m.. and start macro there.
If you can locate a small bay its even better, since the less directions the fish has to go, the fewer "get's away"..
Tried with the original macro one night, and doing this the other, and i increased my yield 20% or more..
(did save on log both nights, so i could compare hard evidence rather then trust luck, speaking of wich, do it with a smug, wearing full 9 pice armor with luck on every pice (crafter RE suit) and you might get what i did last night... 2 complete fish tanks, and 30 maps..)
Going to se if i can write a sort of bot for AutoIT, that fille's and delete the fish and other unwanted stuff...
But whouldent hold my breath, got to mutch stuff to do already, perhapps someone else feals up for that part?

I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be posting anything else I find good here. Today I tried to use this and only get "nibble" when I use it. Used the macro and when the window popped up and I picked tug right/left etc. - THEN got it to work. Let me know if you find otherwise... I regret sharing this.

I see what you're talking about lil_stinker. I'm still able to use it, but the first nibble always gets away. Just let it go though and you'll get the next one. I've already Yay'd this, and I think Genosis did as well. So might as well move this to confirmed.

Dunno if its my client thats weird, but seems SoE changed "default" action in fishing to "stop fishing"..
Rather lame fix imo, and not to difficult to work around..
All they have done now, is give me a reason to build a fully functional fish bot..
