today we were all chilling in our buffhouse which was a generic guild hall, when all of a sudden all of these red dots appeared on the rooftop. they just kept spawning over and over. we feared exploit but one guy knew what happened.
they used cloud cars from tcg then set an ITV waypoint there (guessing I assume) the height of the roof. If the height fails you fall thru the house and u walk outside and try again until finally you get it right and spawn right on the roof. Once on the roof they used the Veteran's Flight Reward (name?) (tcg loot) to set a wp for your entire group to spawn to.
Basically, we got pwnt. I see this as being non exploit but pretty tough to obtain both cloud car and flight reward.
all you YOURSELF need is a cloud car and you can fly onto anyones rooftop while they are overt and getting tacs ROFL.

Cloud car way points are made by stand at a location and setting the waypoint. You do not just add numbers to get a waypoint so that's not how it was done.
Same with the Hoth ITV, you have to pull the vehicle out to set a waypoint and you don't do that by typing numbers either.
So you cannot set a waypoint to a location that you do not have access to.
Flight of the Veteran is just that, a vet reward.
Without further explanation this is a nay, sorry.

Agree with cuervogold here. Even with a G9, Hoth ITV, Cloud Car, you have to create the way-point by being there as he said. Now, you can drop your ITV, then walk away from it (Not too far) to where you want to actually be dropped Front door of a house etc..) Dropping on a guild hall roof requires you to call your ITV, bring up the menu for it and leave it on your screen, then make your way to the roof and store the way-point. Now, there are tricks to accessing the roof of a hall you don't have access to, one used to be to drop your network connection, run through the hall you don't have access to, and quickly make your way to the roof then plugging your network back in, since you are still outside the game allows you to remain there. Now you can "store way-point" and that will now drop you on the roof of that hall when you call your ITV.
You cannot access a house you don't have entry to. Even if you did manage to get inside somehow, the system would boot you from the house once it realizes you're inside.

Cuervo is correct. You must be standing on the spot to set the waypoint.
What most likely happened is the enemy slipped an alt into your guild, or a guild that has access to your roof top. Then used its at-at head or pod car to set a waypoint. Or, they just grouped up with an enemy that has a pod car/at at head and while standing on the rooftop that person used a flight of the veteran to get to the roof.
