Hello all:

Some ingame friends explained to me a process to increase the Power of a REed power bit.

I have try this procedure several times and all i can say is that sometimes work, sometimes not, depending of the REing chances.

The most important matterto be considered about this procedure is that we are working with "posibilities" so, there is a chance to have failures during the process.

My experimentation stats are simple: the 3rd iteraction fails in some of the cases.

In addition, i am working with 1st order power ups at the moment. I will try this with 2nd and 3rd order in the future but it would work as well.

Below I will explain the detailed steps:

1st step: Create a Power Bit from any looted cloth.
I did the experiments with clothes with stat 18-20 at the moment

2nd step: Get a Modifier bit to be wasted in the process.
Does not matter which kind of modifier u are using.

3rd step: Create a Clothing Attachment with this stuf.


4rd step: Get a looted cloth of any type or stat (a low powered better) and insert it in the retrofit tool to get a 1 socket cloth.
Very important: the process will not work if u use crafted stuff, or did not in my case.

5th step: attach the CA in the cloth.


6th step: Reverse enginer the cloth and u will have a chance to increase the Power bit.

Repeat the process at your choice.

Well this is the theory.
I am still experimenting and sometimes work and sometimes fails cause, aparently the clothes REing work as a ramdom process and the final stat could be good or u could decrease the power stat as well.

My experience after working with about 100 looted clotes is positive and it is a good way to have power bits from 19 to 24 using medium Power clothes.

Now i am trying to clasify my "clothes by stats ranges". My objetives are:
a) To work with clothes with stats clasified by ranges ( 1 to 10, 11 to 17, 18 to20 )
b)Get any rule if exist and to fix those ranges power up limits based on the ranges.

The practice aplication of this procedure is to find out a way to get power ups 19 and 20 from low level stuff.

This will be good for some business over all considering that a 3 stats CA with power around 19 can be sold by 150k to 200k depending of the modifiers and the server. These are regular prices on Chilastra

If you're gonna take advantage of the looted item retorfit bug...at least aim high (like +35). There's no point in taking advantage of it, if you're just gonna make crap.

Well, 5.3 isn't live yet, but, ppl on TC are saying that you can no longr RE items that you have placed attachments in, thus taking out a vital part of the process. Sorry man :cry:
