My Tips: : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

Here i will post some macro's and tips that have worked for me while advancing in this game.

Grinding Investigation XP:

There is an easy way to grind Investigation XP. But it only works if you are an Novice Bounty Hunter, or Bounty Hunter 1xxx.

Go to Coronet, Corellia.

Go to the BH mission terminals over there (/tar Bounty) worked for me to find them.

When you get to the terminals, you will see there is a fountain, and at both sides of the fountain, there are 2 Bounty Hunter Mission terminals. And between the Terminals, there is a SpyNet operative. Sorry i dont have a waypoint for it.

Anyways, stand between the terminal that is closer to the SpyNet Operative.


Open your Datapad.


Open the mission list.

Select one mission, talk to the spynet operative (You should be able to talk to him without moving) and get the mission waypoint.

Now, only take missions close to you (Sometimes they spawn 200m away from you).

If the mission is far away, delete it from your datapad

When you qualify for Investigation II, dont train it until you are capped on Investigation XP (When you cant get any more XP)

Rince and repeat.

Get Survey XP While AFK:

First, create a macro and name it sample



Now, take up the survey tool you want to use. You can use any kind of survey tools.

Survey for a mineral until you find something close to you.

Now press the Sample button.

Your character will sit down and start to Sampla.

Close the Survey window, move your character forward (Making him stop sampling) and press the macro you just made.

Now come back to train




Hunting Krayt Dragons, the easy way.

Me and my friend, often hunt krayt dragons for fun.

We can solo level 94 Acients really easy without getting any damage.

The trick is simple:

You must be a ranged profession, and you must be able to "Snare" the dragon.

Snare attacks are for an example Knee-Cap Shot.

(Im a Master Combat Medic, so Electrolyte Drain works really good for me).

Get your maximum distance that your gun can shoot. And start attacking the dragon using a snare attack.

The dragon will run to you.

Start running around him, in BIG circles. (Using BurstRun is helpfull)

Keep the dragon snared, and knocking him down can make it easier.

When the dragon is dead, go up to him, and enjoy your loot (If any).

Stuff looted of Krayts are these:

Krayt Dragon Tissue
Used for making guns, can be very good.
Krayt Dragon Pearls
Jedi's use these in their sabers. Today, Krayts only drop "Good" pearls, but some publishes ago, you could get "Premium, Flawless" pearls that sell for about 15 mill each. Good Pearls sell around 500k.
Krayt Dragon Scales
Armorsmiths put these into armor for a health bonus in the armor

Some dragons even drop smuggler components, but they are getting very common now-a-days.
