Quest "Fate of the Galaxy, Part III" : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

maybe Premium membership worthy.

As you know in the Quest "Fate of the Galaxy, Part III" you could choose one of the following quest-rewards: Shard of Retaliation or Lair Crystal.

When you completed this quest long time ago, you maybe know that the lair crystal was not provided with Post-Nge stats. But now it is.

For me, I completed the quest about 3 weeks after NGE and I choose the "Shard of Retaliation" because this item had the correct stats. Now, the Lair Crystal is an uber-better buff that the shard. So I wrote a ticket and explained the CSR that I choose the shard because of the stats and it is not fair when the lair crystal has now better stats. So I asked him if he could swap out the reward for the lair crystal. He looked in his log files and noticed that my request is true and he swapped out the reward. Now I have a better buff....

Well I’m glad you got the reward you wanted, But I vote nay on the simple fact your basing this on the hopes that the CSR has pity on you.

Im going to mod nay this. As bgarner says, this is based on a CSR being nice and helping you out. Getting an item swapped is not an exploit or guide, its more a good-will offering from the CS department, much like you will get from any real-world business. Its more suited to the general section.

The other problem with CSR based tricks, is that its based on good-will, and the use here is virtually unlimited, we could have hundreds of different stories and submissions with this type of thing.
