For the last little while people have been digging and digging for different ways to level easily... here's how I do it...
1. Get a ship and get ready to do some space combat.
2. Travel to the Kashyyyk system.
3. Fly about 5k away from the avatar platform space station. There is a spot with countless tier 3 and tier 4 blackscale fighters and bombers. I'd give exact WP, but it seems to move. Just search that 5k radius for a few and you'll find the spot.
4. For some reason, they only attack you if you attack them. It seems you can sit in the same position forever, adjusting your ships systems and preparing for the next fight, without the fear of being attacked until you're ready.
5. You should fight however many blackscales you can handle at once. When I started this I had a puny dunelizard, and I could take on 2-3 blackscale fighters or 1 blackscale fighter and 1 blackscale bomber.
6. These are fairly easy tier 3 ships to kill. fighters give 1k xp, and bombers give 4k xp. With a good group and buffs you can often net 500-600k xp per hour. It's an easy grind, and a very quick way to lvl.
7. Some may bring up the point that to lvl, you have to go back to your trainer, and that at 500k per hour, there's a lot of traveling going on... Yes this is correct, however I've noticed that at a certain point you will begin to "Bank" XP. You will see your Space XP maxed on your prof window, but if you point your mouse over the progress bar you will see a higher number than what you needed to level (ex: 151032 / 82000). I don't know why, but I won't complain.
That's it. Quick and easy, simple grindage. One of my faves.
