I recently started doing sher kar for loot. Anyways, I took my medic and jedi in to farm loot. I only had the omniglobular syringe on the Jedi so went into the instance while my other toon was outside. I typed /eject and it put me outside of the cave again. I then traded the syringe to my alt medic and entered back in and my medic was also able to get in as well. I am now able to get into the instance without the syringe. This can save buying the loot for another syringe or wasting glowies on making a new one for another toon.

This is intended. When the Mustifar instances were switched over to act like heroics, they were also switched over so that whenever you entered once, you were then "keyed" for it.
For example, with the Sher Kar cave, you have the syringe. This is your key. You enter once, you are now flagged permanently for that instance. Give the syringe to someone else, same thing happens.
It's not an exploit - it's just the way the system works now.

Nay. You're describing exactly how it works, and is supposed to work. As intended.
