I did it to the T...Problem is my friend now can not re enter the instance because it shows him completing it but he never got an item...so he had to page a GM to get a shard.. Definately not repeatable for xp anymore but is repetable im sure if they leave the instance before complete and just act as a "key"... But thats a seperate un-nerfed post..

Sounds like you forgot to disband group after entering the instance.

wow nice it does work
o and you should put in, wait outside the instance for obi-wan to spawn after you complete it - it took afew min for me
also it looks like you complete part 1 2 and 3 when doing this and you get to start over
just a fyi this still works as of 8/31/07

After you group and enter the instance YOU MUST DISBAND AGAIN. Otherwise, all group members will complete the quest and you will not be able to repeat it.

Still working as of 9/20/07 ---- The person finishing the quest does still have a one hour timer on him though...any way to get around that? =)

Based on the OP's guide to doing it for XP, it is not working. I followed it to a 'T' the other night with a guildie.
After the ordeal, I received the bad shard and the skiff, but upon exiting the instance, he still had Part III to do and we were not able to start back on part I.
Any updates to this? Repeatable for Shard of Retal loot is still good though. =)

Still working
did it 3 times this afternoon
helped buddies get crystals and badges and i lvled up my lowbie
i had the quest. just stood there still grouped while some other player killed. i repeat and they get rewards (loot and badges)
also i disband and exit and leave the guy inside alone. its all him and i can keep doing it for others

i read THIS POST and didnt understand near as much as this one. though i did this one when it was first posted. just had to test it again
this one works as of 01/26/08

Note idk if people know takes a week or so , but you will get Banned have done for Guildies & friends to all have been guess they have some program impleted that scans if you repeated a bugged quest such as kash one & eventully you get your account banned & a notice iv had this happen 3 times , id not use enless you wanna take a huge chance of geting a Perma Banned
Same for any Quest that is Bugged to Exploit the XP or Goods it's Logged Into the System & in about a week youll either get a 7day suspension or Perma ban

this is not nerfed
after both players have entered the instance
the one that i call the key holder
(the one with the quest)
leaves and disbands
leaving the toon that is after the loot to finish the quest solo
this is old news tho there is lots of posts like this around

its not nerfed plp just do it wrong and get them selfs locked

Nerfed with chapter 10. Mustafar instances were changed to use the heroic instance controller code, and only the quest holder can enter.
