Oh, and also for additional information, once character transfer was finished, tried to respec to BH.

Did the guys who were able to make it work use pre nge/pre cu characters? Did you use your expertise points before the transfer? What profession did you respec to?
For the guy who was able to make it work the 2nd time: same questions as above, plus did you tried with the same servers? (from x to y)
Let's try to understand if it randomly bugs or if there are some requirements to make it work .

I tried this today and it didn't work. After my respec I was a CL5...

Transfer no items 90 Entertainer from Farstar to Chilastra.

Respec'd at Mos Eisley NPC to Jedi. CL5...

I did this yesterday, and it worked heres how I did it:

1.had a lvl 80 ent on bria(was made chapter 6) lvled it to 90 in an hour
2.went to mos eisley to reset my expertise before transferring just in case
3.transfered the character to europe-farstar without items (30$)
4.logged in said ent on europe-farstar and went to the respec npc in mos eisley.
5.respecced spy and was lvl 90 with all spy bits and bobs that comes with being that lvl

I did this on two characters, 3 days ago. I created a character on bria. I leveled them to 90 entertainer. I then transfered to another server, no items. Upon getting to the new server, I went directly to the respec npc and went bounty hunter. I was lvl 90, bounty hunter.

There might have been a hotfix on this though I have seen a ton of people doing this, mostly farmers.

does this work if i transfer with items?

The character that I used (failure) was a brand new character.

I did this this weekend. Account is pre cu elder but I created a brand new toon to do this. Created toon on server X, leveled ent to 90 with the nym's dance item. Transfered ent to server Y with no items. Went to respec npc, respeced to spy and was level 90.

To me it seems to be a random bugg. But this does work for me. I made a brandnew toon the account was only 23 days old. I lvled the ent AFK to 90, Transferd and respec to jedi. I did not have any expertese points in....Just a master ent. I did it the following day with my brothers account to get him a 90. Then down the line 2 more toons to 90. It has worked good for me. So what i think is it may be a random bug or such. But it has worked perfect for me and about 4 of my friends who have got 90 toons.



I would say do NOT put expertese points in. That seems to bugg it a little. Just a thought but may help

I did have expertise points assigned before the transfer. Perhaps that is the key to the failure.

I tried this, and I beleive it has been patched.

I did no expertise assignment beforehand, it was a post NGE account however (starter kit).

When I logged in after transfer it asked me right away to choose a profession.

However, I typed /quit instead and was not charged.
So those who want to test and see if it works or not. if respec screen comes up right away, just type /quit you will get an email telling you an error occured, and your character will exist on both servers.
(But you will be level 1 on the new server)
But you wont be charged a dime

I just did it this morning and it worked fine for me.

Is the account pre NGE?

When I did mine 2, both my accounts are pre nge. If that helps
