SWG Cheats: Trade no trade items and lvl your alt instantly : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

In the NGE characters were given respec kits. Once you level up to 90 you may have respecs left over. You were also given a second character slot shortly after the NGE. This exploit will not only let you trade no-trade items but also trade your level 90 respec kit to level up your alt instantly to level 90.

Make a new city, you will become mayor. Drop your no-trade items in the city hall. Have your alt voted mayor. Drop your respec kit, jedi robes, schematics, or any other no trade items in the hall. When your alt becomes the new mayor they can pick up these items. I just used this trick this week to level my alt from a low level crafter to a level 90 jedi and they started out with a master robe and an old republic LS schem.

I say nay because the mayoral race takes three weeks to end.

Another thing that *may* work is transferring a house to someone. I'd check it out, but my subscription ended and the money has been diverted to EVE.

Yes the mayor race takes 3 weeks to end but once you create a new city it takes a week to switch mayors (your city can level up and change mayors after first week but after that its on a 3 week cycle, at least for mine) So theoretically you should be able to make a trashable city just for this purpose and delete the city hall when you are done. Since everyone has at least 2 toons per server now then you would need 4-5 friends to do this with you. (Requires 10 houses to maintain a village) Yes waiting is a bit of a pain but levling a toon up to 90 in the NGE without double xps takes mind numbing months. Someone might be able to do it in a few weeks or using another exploit but this allows you to do this without doing any grinding. Secondly, trading no trade items such as jedi robes, no trade ligthsaber schematics and other weapons, respec kits... ect is IMPOSSIBLE any other way.

transferring a house doent work. It used to work this is how the smugglers used to slice lightsabers. They fixed that bug but they never considered player cities obviously. I think the reason it works is becuase the devs really didnt modify the code to keep you from being able to trade items untradable items this way, they probably just added a condition to the transferstructure call. Changing mayors changes ownership of the city hall while bypassing the transferstructure fix.

I'm trying this out currently, still have to wait for mayor to switch. I will let you know if it works. I'll be switching from entertainer to a full temp Trader: Engineering. Just hope nothing goes wrong in the process because these character respec devices really are the most valuable thing in the game to me lol.

They must have fixed this because I tried it and my alt was unable to pick any of the items up, nor could they drop anything in city hall (even though they were now mayor). If I am missing a step please let me know. Thanks

I did the 3 week electoral race, won mayorship today and I do NOT HAVE ADMIN RIGHTS to the City Hall.

Perhaps it's bugged, or perhaps it is nerfed.
