SWG Dupes - Painting Dupe Exploit : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

This exploit will allow you to create multiples of the old loot kit paintings. The broken hand-held viewscreen (tan) has not dropped on live servers in years, however the other parts ALL DROP often.

Get one of the *tan* hand-held viewscreens (many people still have them on every server) you will only need one EVER, if you follow these instructions exactly.

You will need the following:

Picture Printer
Blank Canvas
Paint cartridge
Paint disperal unit
Broken hand-held viewscreen

All of the above are lootable, and consumed in the process except the viewscreen. The viewscreen is *supposed* to be consumed, but this method will prevent it, and give you the painting!

Gather the above items in your inventory, DO NOT put them into the picture printer yet.

Next, make sure your inventory is 79/80, meaning one free inventory spot.

Now, drop the other items in, but the viewscreen goes in LAST. The painting will be produced and placed in your inventory, giving you a full inventory BEFORE the viewscreen goes into the picture printer, and is consumed.

As we all know, the picture printer is a container, and you cannot place items into a container in your inventory, if the inventory is full.

I have repeated this countless times, this produces 3 different paintings at random.

Droid in Contrast (does not drop elsewhere. sells for 5-10mill regularly)
Bio-Engineer poster (worthless, drops as loot)
Double helix (does not drop elsewhere, worth 5-10mill).

And there we have it.

Did they nerf this today? I tried it and it seems to not be working suddenly. Worked fine the past 2 days. :/

dont see how thats possible since the servers didnt go down until about 15min ago from this post. there hasnt been any updates/hotfixes/patches

u say about the hand held goin in last, i mite bwe a bit dumb lol but i dont understand, u hav 79/80 the rest of the stuff is in the container and then u put the viewscreen in and then use the radial on it or do u use the radial on it before u put the hand held in?

Yeah, I was quite surprised for the same reason, there was no patch or server down.. but it didnt work for me last night. Tried relogging to make sure, still no joy. Havent gotten in game yet today to try again.

It works for me as of today, So may wanna check if your doing something wrong.

Wierd. It worked for me for a 2 days and hasn't worked for me the last 2 days. Doing the exact same thing. Not sure whats up. I'll try again tonight.
