Choose your profession before you transfer. Being level 90.

Transfer server, or account, or same server to another account. etc.

You keep the majority of your specials from your old profession once you respec after the transfer.

I used my respec kit. Not NPC. Changed to smuggler.

I kept all my spy abilities except for the top heal and cloak. I couldnt use spy clothing or weapons, but that didnt matter.
I could use two heals on different timers and all the abilities.

Is now a Spy/Smuggler.

Well you dont realy wanna do that anymore, I had done this like 6month ago and was cought cost me 8 days of ban, and flaged account. After that there fixed the Issue on my account, so if you get cought after the 1st time you can still transfer but want be able to do the double Profession anymore, and you could be baned a much longer time after the 1st time. Up to you, but if only 1 ppl reports you in game and a CSR gets a hold on you, you off the game faster then you can type F&^K.

Yeah, my server's in an uproar right now because there's a BH/spy that's been ganking folks. None of the fools could figure out how he was doing it (I just kept my mouth shut, heh heh), and the guy *claims* he's bugged, rofl. Just wish he'd be more discreet about it, not call attention to it.

so is this actually nerfed? or just a really bad idea, cuz someone on my server is still getting away with it, has been for like 4+ months

Heres a thought for brain.. if you do the whole transfer thing and then come back and respect and get 2 professions.. what if you transfer once again with thouse 2 profession then transfer back and respec again.. think thouse 2 professions will stick?? and you recive now a 3rd proff. I know this is not very likely, but so is somone stubling apon the whole 2 professions thing.. this once again is a very pricey experiement im going to be doing a transfer my self soon.

Well people are willing to pay for transfers just to try this. Im sure someone has spare cash to spend

Ok I just came up with an interesting idea, regarding double professions on 1 toon, of course I have no experience with the 2 professions on 1 toon exploit so please forgive me, if this idea is just stupid. now consider this:

I have 2 accounts, on one my main character is billy a level 90 elder jedi, on one account. I use my other account to creat a new character and name him......I dont know, how about muffdiver, or something offensive, yet not so offensive that I grab attention right away. I find a way to get the csr's to change my name, since it is offensive and then ask to have my name changed to billy.
Now I have 2 accounts with a player named billy, on the same server. Here is where things get a confusing, If by having the same name as my main character, i get access to all items and such that are bioliked to my character, and even get access to the respec tool, or the respec npc as a level 90. If so then I could possibly instantly respec from a level 1 whatever, to a level 90 whatever, in this case, i say pick the same profession as your main character.
If the above idea works, then great, I now have 2 level 90 elder jedi on the same server with the same name. If the above idea does not work, in terms of the items and such, the I could grind from level 1-90, which would suck.
Ok, so now we have 2 characters on the same server with the same name, regardless of how we did it, either respceing(with luck) or grinding. They are both the same profession. This is where things should get rather interesting. Obviously haveing 2 characters on a server with one name could cause some interesting things to happen, But what if we take it further. Lets say that haveing the 2 characters on the server doesnt give us double profession on the same toon, Which since this is all guess work, none of this will likely work anyway.
To humor me, lets say we can get as far as getting 2 characters with the same name on the server with same level and profession. What if we then decided to transfer from one account to the other? I think this could cause some rather interesting things to happen.
To finish up the rambling, let me say, I have no experience with either of the exploits that i referd to in this post. Also I briefly understand how our characters are saved on the servers. This was just one of those rare moments where I had an uncontrolled brain storm, and figuered I'd throw this out to people that have much more experience in exploiting. Sorry for the long post, let me know what you people think.

I just tried this and it didn't work for me. I was respecing my Jedi to commando and lost all of my Jedi abilities.

Can another premium member confirm this to be nerfed as well.

For those who server transfered and respeced and got two proffesions on ONE character............How did you respec. npc or respec tool?

For those who didn't get it to work, did you use the respec tool ? or the npc to respec? were you level 90? were you an elder?

People need to start giving more details if they want this to become a truly investigated!!!!

Or maybe a bunch of people know it works and are just trying to say it doesnt so less people can do it...... i agree with them, lol, the less people who use it....the better!
