ok this seems dumb in your descript you say that what i can do is take a +20 power bit and throw it in a RE tool with a shirt that has a +35 luck power up charge in it, so when i create a skill enhancing attachment ill get something with +20 luck, but what is the point of that
if i just throw the +20 power bit with a luck mbit ill get a +20 luck SEA cutting out the step of using a shirt and wasting the power up charge

oh i get it its only saving u the waste of mbits which i guess makes sense but every time i try using an empty shirt powered up and creating a SEA with that and a power up it just goes down

the only problem is the original post says you get the pups mod in the pbit that comes out so its a nay for sure, but it is a helpful trick to not waste mbits

No offense intended sparktite, but I think you may need to re-read the RE guide on the OF.
Basically, if your RE chance (and Luck) is high enough (149 is the general max unless you get lucky with your PUps), then repeating this procedure will get your powerbit up to +35 quite quickly.
The idea is that, in your example of the +20 luck SEA that you create, you then put that in an empty and un-power-upped (for want of a better) word, shirt, reverse engineer that shirt, and then start the process again until you get to +35. Once you have the +35 powerbit, you can then use it with whatever mod you finally want.
Hope that clears it up a bit for you, and as I said, no offense is intended.

nah what i was complaining about is the title of the guide says i get the Pups mod, so lets say i have a pup with +50 stamina, then by what he says when i throw the pup into the RE tool with a PBit i should get an SEA with +50 stam
And yes i noticed you can do this trick to save you alot of modbits, but to people who dont want to spend money getting a bunch of resources and placing a bunch of energy harvestors, and then making a bunch of factory crates, it might be easier to just go grind junk
but ive been using the techinique and it still works the same as using mod bits, just saves the use of mod bits, it doesnt make the chance of jumping to a 35 greater
