put on master cloke with colths under it. delete master cloak on. open slot for somethign else and put somehting else with mods on. u keep ur protection for cloak while getting possiably 4 stat stuff modds as well as protection. u can use vest or somethign like that.

does the protection stay if you respec to another profession?
and does it work with robe of the stormcaller/cloak of the kursk, too?

Finding out if this is a once off, or actually repeatable is going to be expensive.
Not worth wasting a master cloak to try this, though if it works with a kursk/stormcaller cloak, they are only cheap on my server.
Does the armour stack, or does it get reset once you equip more armour?

i have tried this it does work but u cant stack it and if u change prof u loose it aswell so be carefull..

Hello all:
Verified. it is fully working.
Tested with the following stuff:
- cloak of the kursh and With Jedi Master cloak too a little later.
- reinforced jacket.
The cloak armor stats maintains its values after the cloak destroying.
The new clothing modds are loaded in the stats.
I have relog for verification. Everything ok.
Notes and details to be considered:
- i have tried with armours and all armored clothes will reset the stats. Only works with stuff modd .
- The Agility 20 and the constitution 120 master cloak mods will disappear. Only the armor stats will survive.
Enclosed the print screens.
LAST NEWS:
After around 2 hours the jedi cloak armor stats disappeared.
My toon was AFK.
Because of that i can not insure this exploit really works.
DID NOT IN MY CASE
DOES NOT WORK in my case..... and i wasted 2 cloaks (lol) No worries i have a bunch of them for these kind of things.

So would it work if you put a master cloak on, then destroy it then put on an elder robe?

This doesnt seem to work. Has it been fixed in that small update earlier today?
*Just to make sure I am doing it correctly* - I put on a knight robe, destroy it while having it equipped and then put on my elder robe. The stats do not get any higher.

anyone know if this works for armored clothing?
I'd like to equip a set of armored clothing, and then delete it and keep the armor stats, then equip whatever I want to wear.

I wouldnt waste the armour clothing, it doesnt last long enough. Stick to looted robes, they are easy to replace.

Just grab a cheap set from the bazaar....you will know then without wrecking anything too expensive
