 SWG Guides - Soloing Krayts w/o being spy : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

I have no idea if this is on here already or not but might as well give it a shot. The other day I solo'd a couple krayt ancients/grands on my jedi. What you have to do is:
1) Get an ent buff that has +7% Dodge, +1.5k energy protection, +3750 kinetic protection, and +24% chance to heal when damaged.
2) Once you have that ent buff travel to the krayt graveyard and find an ancient with any low level creatures nearby.
3) Pull about 10-15 of them towards the ancient and be careful not to kill them. Once they are attacking you start attacking the ancient. You will notice your health is increasing since those low level creatures are striking you enough to make your +24% chance to heal when damaged buff activate alot more and their damage is so low that it doesnt hurt your health hardly at all. You shouldnt get below 3/4 health but if you do just heal and that should solve the problem.
4) Keep attacking the krayt making absolutely sure you use NO AoEs since you might kill the low level creatures. Once the krayt is dead loot/extract a hydro from it's corpse and then be on your way to the next Krayt.
This way is alot faster than gasing a krayt with a spy and is a very easy way to get 8+ hydros. Though I cannot stress enough that you have to have at least 10 low level creatures attacking you. Fewer than that will cause that heal to be less active and that krayt will kill you easily. This isn't exactly an exploit but it helps and not many knew of this on my server. Anyway, hope this is good for a prem membership again.

I say YAY, it works.
BUT!!!!:
It is hard to find an ancient krayt surrounded by 10+ low level mobs....
That is the only problem!!!
But basically it is a YAY from my point of view

Chapter 6.8, publish notes...
"Reactive heal cooldown timer increased to 3 seconds from 0."
I am assuming this no longer works, can anyone verify?

I think that is for the GCW bases reactive heal. I'm pretty sure ent buffs don't have cooldown timers

nay it doesnt work, i tried it and got 2 of my own alts to duel me with out any wpns so they do less dmg than the creatures, then i tried 8 10 and 20 creatures on me
with 8 and 10 it barley manages to stay up with out going down
at 20 i wind up loosing health rather than gaining it
i tried soloing a krayt and this was while my doc was healing me with the over time heal and me using my 2 commando heals and stims with all the creatures on me
i tried it twice and wound up eating !@#$%^&* both times

They made changes to all reactive heal types (see below). The shared cooldown is what kills this one. Too bad because this worked great.
- All reactive health heals are now on a shared cooldown group. Abilities modified are the Entertainer Build-a-buff reactive heal, the Static Base Reactive Health Stim, and the GCW Officer Unstoppable ability.
- Reactive heal cooldown timer increased to 3 seconds from 0.

Using the Heavy Harvester Exploit still works best, I killed 10 ancient kraties last night using harvester exploit. simple and easy

A good way to do this. If you have a medic toon on another account. Have him auto follow your toon and hook him up with a heal macro and you will be able to kill most krayts without dying. I usualy do it that way

Ok so aside from the medic toon . . . I'm pretty sure this has all just been nerfed. I even tried dropping a heavy harvester and the old rock tricks and what happens is the krayt gets stuck for like 30 seconds, then floats directly to whatever has agro'd it. So there ya go . . . may want to update this and move it to nerfed section.
