Using combat level 90 armor at combat level 5 : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

Found a way to use combat 90 armor at starting combat levels. First, take the time to grind up an entertainer. With the guides on here it shouldnt take long. Once you hit cl 90 on the entertainer equip come cl 90 armor. Go to a character respecer and then pick your new combat proffesion. I did this by accident and happened to have on some cl 90 armor that was some looted stuff. The only thing that came off in the character respecing process was just the helmet. Everything else that was cl 90 stayed on. I cant confirm that this works for all looted armor or even crafted armor but the armor that stayed on kept its original stats. This is a great tool if you decide to level up another toon because you are getting cl 90 armor protection. If someone can confirm that you can change out armor by respecing back to entertainer, change to better armor, and the respec back and keep on what you started with let us know.

every time ive respeced it unequipped ALL my armor. Not saying you wrong, but it would need to be further tested, and doable again.

My only other thought on this is, at lvl 22 you can equip any crafted armor (35'd out) and have have better protection and stats than the looted stuff.

I think its kinnda random when it happens. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesent. Like one time i respec a low lvl Jedi to BH and when i did he still had his Robe on. Just my thought. Its hard to yay something that is this random.

2. You can spend 30 minutes and level up to level 22, then equip capped crafted armor which is better than lvl90 looted armor.

I would rather spend 30 minutes Legacy questing to LvL 22 than spending 3 hours mastering ent and then still only having a small chance of the armor sticking.

this only works if your inventory is full. I have not done this in ages. I will make a new toon on Bloodfin, and try this out again.

I have never had this happen and I respec regularly. Every time I have ever done it I have had my armor unequip. You can't even respec unless you have 20 slots open. And if you end up only have 20 slots it will still unequip your armor and root you to the spot till you make room. So big NAY from me.

Thats a nay from me also... This used to work when NGE first came out but it does not now. I just used the exploit to get to CL 90 ENT in an hour and half bought maxed out Armor and a CL 88 Weapon. equiped them and then filled my inventory with junk random loot. When I tried to respec it said something like "You must clear up inventory spots before you respec.

OP may have just got lucky and ran across a random bug as it dont work all the time. And I have not been able to get it to work on 9 different noobs I made on Bloodfin. Well not with ENT's at least. (they the only ones I know how to max out without costing me any thing.

This is hard for me to say, it does work with looted armor, but not with crafted, but I have to say /yay
