Atttention Admin!! : General & Trouble Shooting

I dont understand why am I being ignored...i have sent PM to every admin and forum moderator and i still havent got any answers.

For the last couple of days, 6 days to be exact, i been using my neighbor computer to access this forums because someone for reasons that i dont know banned my IP.

I dont curse in forums and i barely post, so why does it look like i'm banned??

Here is the message that i get when i click on any of the links like forums, search and others, except for Auction :

But when i log in using my job's computer and my friend computer i get no problems, i can even check the forums and post, not only that, i even tried using a proxy (super slow) and i get access using my PC.

Can somebody at least reply and let me know whats going on??

hmmm strange. Tault_Admin should have cleared it up fast but i havnt seen him around lately much. you could always try a proxy untill its fixed x.X

i cant live using this proxy...is anoying...for every link that i click i have to go away and come back 5 minutes later, this is how much i have to wait in order to open 1 page. ..having cable internet for 10 years and now all of a sudden rely on a 56k speed proxy is not easy.

Im always around. I actually messaged him. The reason this account is banned is he was trying to do a flood hack. Check your system if it wasnt you. You then have a virus in it. Your system has constantly tried to flood the site by doing keystrokes over and over.

On the nice side we have a great server and protection setting. So when people attempt this they are locked out and banned from the system.

This ip will not be unbanned so you will be forced to use the comp at a diff place. As well if it persists legal action will be taken.

If you dont put on anti virus software on your computer then you suffer the risks of having your computer taken advantage of.

the reason i disable my antivirus (norton) was because i run 2 accounts of FFXI and i'm using 2 windowers...but you can trust me, i never thought that disabling norton will cause you guys all this trouble and for that i'm very sorry.

Is there any ways you guys can unblock my IP if i put back my antivirus..

dont use norton its a resource hog. use NOD32 it uses TONS less and is MUCH MUCH better

I never had a virus before, and it just happens that 2 weeks ago i disable my norton antivurus for the following reason:

I'm running 2 screens or windowers with my 2 FFXI accounts. In order for me to get better quality i had to disable a few things taht were running and i took the risk of disabling norton since all i do is play FFXI and i dont download any other stuff.

If this so called attack have happened before my 2 weeks then i can guarantee you that it couldnt be me. i'm not a hacker and i have no reason to hack this website when i have bought 2 premium accounts...all legal!!

Can you please unban my IP?? i will activate norton again and run a system check to make sure that everything is ok, and if this so called attacks continue you can take me to court, i have nothing to fear since i know that i havent done anything that i'm aware of.

Plus, it doesnt hurt giving me another chance since you said that your sever are very good.

btw...whats is NOD32?? never heard of it

NOD32 is an antivirus which is a lot more advanced than norton. that virus that crippled the windows 200 business last year was allready blocked by them and they where offering a fix while other antiviruses where scrambling to fix the problem.

thank you very much for all of your help...and certainly i will try this anti-virus, i had used some program called panda or something like that be4 and they always gave me the same problem, i cant run 2 windows at the same since it takes too much CPU resources.

Also, i will like to see my IP unbanned. Seriously, i understand it was my fault for not protecting my PC during those 2 weeks but i'm not the type of person that download stuff from the net and i dont understand how i flood the server.

I will also like to know if this has been happening be4 so i can run a virus check or else i guess i will have to take extreme measures and delete all of my saved files from my other hard drives to clean it.

I will send it to some of our main techs to decide. Because frankly it was your own fault this happened. Best bet would be to call your cable provider anmd ask for a new ip. Because we dont take this issue lightly as we could seek legal actions.

I have never said that it wasnt my fault, I take full responsability of it if indeed it was my fault, i understand that your system does it automatically and it blocked my IP so it couldnt be a mistake that it blocked my IP, but from what i understand i could easily use a proxy and log back into the forums, now if that is possible then what lets you believe that my PC (IP) wasnt used as a "proxy" ??

I very well know that is very easy to track the "real" hacker once legal actions are taken since there is no way they will be blamming me for something that they cant proove just because of my IP, and during this time i did my own research on how IP and proxies work so is not like i'm making stuff up.

If i was really trying to hack this website dont you think that i had be a bit smarter in terms of hidding myself through proxies or TOR, plus i wouldnt be defending myself since all you guys did was blocked my IP and not ban my account or take legal action, what i mean by this is that i could had easily moved on to another IP and try again. I payed for 2 premium accounts, so why would i risk loosing them by doing such a stupid thing??
Nobody likes to get blammed for something they didnt do, specially when is consider a crime, and thats why i'm defending myself.

Again, I will like for you to send me a PM or let the whole public know when did this happened, lets try to help each other to find a solution to this since i'm willing to be cooperative, if legal actions has to be taken then i'm all for it. I'm not trying to be rude or sound defiant, just trying to find a solution one way or the other.

Also, thank you for at least trying to give me a chance and i hope we can all resolve this issue.
