 Cannot get Xunleashed to run with EQ2 - crashes on startup. : General & Trouble Shooting

I've had xunleashed now for about a week, I am trying to get xunleashed to work with EQ2, but every time I click PLAY, the game window loads, the window goes black, pauses for a few moments, then either hangs or disappears. The log file used to tell me something about "ERROR: this video mode may not work with DX9" or something to that affect, but now after a failed attempt at running the game, if I click the log tab it crashes xunleashed.
I do have DX9.0c btw

Do you have ATI tray tools?
If so uninstall it.
There are a few apps that just dont work well with XU and EQ. EQ2 seems to not like XU running anyway, so it is hard to trouble shoot if you are having problems.

Well it would ve been nice to know that I since I have an AMD system that I have to unistall everything to use this before I paid for it, but you cant read the forums til after you ve paid and then you are stuck. How do I get my money back?

Well how do I get my money back then? I have tried everything you have suggested to no avail. I have an amd system with xp pro on it. I have a radeon x850 pro video card. I have spent the last 2 days of my vacation reading forums and not playing. It is just to much work.
