FFXI fails 3 screens from looby... : General & Trouble Shooting

Hello, seems you guys fixed the previous problem i had with the gamepad [thank you]... but now, after I log on and get passed the messages/mail window and whatnot, and I press play it kicks me out with a fatal error.
