Gamepad not working : Legacy General & Troubleshooting

Turned off the gamepad in pol, still no go.

Are we going to get a better response to this issue, or what?

I have created a bug for this. It was assigned but I have not heard anything back in a long time.

this only does this on gamepads that do not use windows default software. if you uninstall your game pad and unplug it then reboot
then plug it back in it will work.

now you WILL loose stuff like rumble but that is what must be done.

The gamepad doesn't include any special software, and it's not an standard HID device, needs a special driver to work with windows..

If there is a way to refference XU with the driver, you could do that, thats all i can say i guess.

I'm having problem with this ever since that Xunleashed update that broke the this. I tried everything that was posted, and it's not working still. Surely if it was working before the Xunleashed update, it wouldnt be hard for admin to fix this problem. Please do something.

i would recccomend using ControlMK to convert your gamepad into a simple replacement system, or post us your log and we can try and fix it.

I am dependent on my game pad so ive not been able to use XU for some time (i even have 2 accounts =/) I have a amd 64 bit OS which is why i cant use windower please help as you can see from the log i have a Logitech Wingman cordless.... and yes i have pol gamepad turned off and have XU dialog checked not windower. thank you for any help

Doesn't work with the windower either.

As with the other posters, issue started with the last X update.

It doesn't produce any errors, just doesn't work. We've heard nothing from the Xunleashed guys about this and no progress in their ticketing system either.

I'm really disappoint that nothing has been done. This post was started on August 13; it is now September 8 and still nothing has been done to fix this. not even a response from admin or mod. Even free sites give better service & support than this.

Logitek Rumblepad 2 issue here as well.

If you check box to make it work it crashes FFXI. If you do not use the option then it works, but you have no gampad support.


Here's the real kicker: it USED to work before most recent patches. Here's a nickel's worth of free advice: If it ain't broke, don't fix it!


PS- I tend to agree with the above poster. That, mixed with the fact that this website is a tangled mess of broken links and old patches you really have to ask yourself: How many people do you expect to renew their membership?

September 13 already and still no response from mod or admin. 1 Whole month already still nothing, what's up?

Admin please fix the problem with gamepad not working anymore with FFXI + Xunleashed.

Or at least give some kinda update.
