sometimes when i have problems with my computer, things crash just like normal PC's... but this is the 2nd time now where XUnleashed has had some kind of problem, and so i get out of FFXI, close XUnleashed and reload it, but it wont let me in, says my license is currently in use.. And it will say this for HOURS before i can use XUnleashed again!!!
Is there some kind of fix for this? or a way for the people who made XUnleashed to fix there timers so when somebody is disconnected, XUnleashed will disconnect them from the server within minutes, not hours...??

Thanks, this issue happens to me ALOT...
I have some conflict or somethin with my computer, so atleast once or twice a day it reboots on me, and i gotta wait hours before i can use XUnleashed again because it says my license is in use but its not.
Instead of a timer, they could have some kind of IP address record, where if somebody trying to connect to XUnleashed with the correct username, password, and registration code has the same IP as the last person to connect, it will disconnect from the other(because obviously its the same person) and reconnect for the person trying to connect.. If IP address is different, it will say its in use, but having the timer in there as well would help incase the person's IP address is different.

Well people could still exploit xunleashed then by creating a fake proxy or something.

Not if its only allowing you to be connected only 1 time.
XUnleashed would be exactly the same except for the connectivity timer and the part that checks if all the information your logging in with matches whats on record, it will only allow you on once, just as it does now.
Well... People could still exploit XUnleashed right now anyway, if im thinking of what your thinking, they still can, but they would have to be a programmer and make there own program.

I flip-flop between 2 computers using crafitng macros. Sometimes I craft in the bed room computer, some times the front room computer. Never both at the same time of course, cause as you know you get this error. One thing that happens sometimes with Eq2, is that the launchpad.exe file will remain loaded in the task managet/processes. Especially if I crash. (Maybe there is a file simalar to that for FFXI.) Once I go in the task manager and close it, with in a min or 2 I can start it up on the other computer.

We reboot the server once a day. Might try to implement a time for acount resets.
