We at VGManor have been working diligently to remake the site into a new incarnation and we're proud to announce the new site! VGManor is now trickeyOne.com!
"What does this change mean?" - With the infrastructure and setup that we had at the old site, the expandability of the site was limited to products and packages that we had bought and built the site on. This change means that the site has more room to stretch and grow and become a more versatile member of the community at large.
"What changes have there been?" - Well, with the growth and changes, we have decided to take the site to a different direction than what the original was created for. With this new site we are expanding into new venues outside of the MMO community. We are working on new areas of the site such as:
-Flash-driven Comic/Art display system - This system will be the new feature here at trickeyOne and we hope one that will take off. This system will allow users to upload images of all types (and in the future, even Flash movies), arrange the images, add effects, add text and captions, manipulate images in different, and many more features. One really neat aspect of this feature will be the ability to make online comics! That's right! You will be able to create your very own comic, complete with pages and anything else you can think of! Or, if comics aren't your cup of tea, you can use the system to showcase your digital art! Add borders, text, designs to your art!
-Blogs/Journal - Ok, we all know that the latest and greatest thing is "blogging". Well, this won't be as versatile or feature packed as an actual blog, but it will a place where you write down your ideas, events or just leave messages for friends!
-New & Improved Videos System - We here at trickeyOne do pride ourselves on the video system that the site has evolved into. From it's inception back in 2005, the original goal of VanguardManor.com (VGManor.com) was to showcase Vanguard's beta-period videos. We hosted videos at full quality to allow the viewer to get the full feel of the game. Since then, the video system has evolved into having categories and various other types of videos, ranging from MMO videos to just the plain silly. We hope, in the future, to be able to implement a system for users to upload videos straight to the site!
I know that this list may seem short for launching a new site, but never fear! We will try and make the site the best it can be! So, we would just like to thank you for being a member of our community and hope that you will enjor our new one!
