When you cross a chunk at this point you can use your evac to put you farther into the area. Because of the way SOH has the chunks set up it is usually in the direction your wish to go.
Example:
Run north from tursh over the mountain pass. Float spells will help here climing, but behind the lake there is a way over.
At the top of the mountain on the other side:
1) if you go straight off you will chunk If you do and "Evac" here you will end up just past the graveyards up the road at the guards /wall /gate.
2) if you head just to the right over the mount and chunk. Hit evac you end up at the Tungel Keep.
From tungal if you run up the mountain to the east behind the bind spot you will chunk going over the other side. Evac and you end up an Lakeview village. Run over the river to catch the road to east and next chunk is just up the road it takes you to misthaven.
Climbing the mountain passes is easiest with a float spell and it makes it easier to exploit the chunks.
Also, You can always tell what chunk your in by looking at the map.. If you remember the bind spots for each it will help speed up your travels.

nay. this is common sense, that u evac to nearest altar will make u get to where u need quicker, but after crossing a chunk and hitting evac, u will not necessarily go to that chunks altar point. there are many cases where u will go back to the previous chunk altar if its closer. it all depends on which ever altar is closest.

nay, every evac'er knows this and is common knowledge and is used by all evac'ers.
