Thats right, you heard it here first.
Dont like VBScript?
We just released VGE 1.7 that allows for .Net compatiblity.
C# or VB or c++ or any .Net app.
Dont like those? In VGE 1.8 due out tomorrow we are releaseing
AutoIT script compatiblity.
Or any programming language that supports COM objects. Thats right. This will support virtually all languages!!!
You heard it here first!

I'm adding events now to vge. That was the first one i was going to add. Event for adds, as well as a API for number of current aggressors.
1.8 will be delayed another day, have to get a quick update out for ffxi and eq2..

YEEEEEEEEEEEES!!
WyvernX, Marry me!
You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this! (or actually you probably do since ive been perstering you about it from day one lol!)
Whatever their paying you over there, you deserve a raise!
I see this message is a few days old. I don't see version 1.8 in the official thread though (or in autoupdate). I assume this means it has been further delayed. If I am mistaken and Im just looking in the wrong place, please tell me where I can grab it
Otherwise it would be nice with another ETA on 1.8 if you can give one. Anohter day or two won't kill me, but it will be nice to know when to expect it

Yes it has been pushed to 1.9. New eta is like 2 days. I have been finishing up fixing problems in the wrapper and have them all sorted out which will be posted in today's patch to 1.8.

Another update. I got it working. I can dump out my Player info in AutoIt. Just one more bug to solve. It works fine as long as autoit.exe is located in the wrapper folder or the compiled script is located in the wrapper folder. As soon as I move it to a different folder, it cant find the wrapper. If I register the wrapper using GACUtil, then it gives other errors relating to 2 different assemblies being loaded. I think the solution is to have VGE read from the GAC instead of the local folder for the wrapper. Anyway, just wanted to post my progress.

Great that you let us know.
I don't really see the limitation of having to place it in the autoit folder as a huge issue tho, atleast not in the short run. After all there is no other folder I need to place VGE for anything else to work so...
It will be great to have it fixed eventually, but for the short term it won't be an obstacle

I have a patch today that will allow autoit to work. It has a bug in that you have to put vge in autoit directory else it wont connect properly to autoit. I'm working around that, but I'll release it anyway so you can play with it. Give me about 5 hours to wake up and get it posted.
