Problems with XU/DAoC/Fraps : XUnleashed Scripting Documentation

I used to be able to run all 3 together. Now after a reformat it seems I can only run DAoC and either XU OR Fraps, not both.

Ok so I load XU, then it loads DAoC, then I turn on FRAPS... it just like cancels out XU, the program box where you launch the game from is still open but no tool bar in game..


Fraps is a video capturing software btw.
Is there any settings of some kind I could mess with? I'd like to figure this out and get it working like it was before.

I am not sure what is causing it to bomb out. I am guessing it is the way that FRAPS is using to hook into the game to capture the screen.

We will be releasing an updated XU client in the next week (for the l2 compatibility) in which we have totally reworked our hooking mechanism. This might solve the problem, but I have not tested it.

Any idea why it worked before and the FRAPS version has been the same the whole time..

It could be something in daoc(or the game you are playing) that has changed.

XU has not changed in about a month.
