Champions Online is a superheroic MMO project by the creators of City of Heroes, designed to give players the power of total customization of their hero experience while they explore a vast universe of richly detailed 3D environments. The game features literally billions of character options allowing total customization, real-time action combat and of course the richly detailed Champions universe.

Champions Online is a superhero-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game by City of Heroes/Villains developer Cryptic Studios based on the Champions license. Game Informer's preview revealed that the game is being developed for Microsoft Windows and the Xbox 360. The game's rules will be based loosely on the HERO System ruleset. It is now in the beta stage of development.
