Great anti stone tank/brute strategies : City of Heroes - Submissions

Ok, im going to make htis strategy short and sweet, its worked for me even after the range nerf on impale. Basicly, you need a spine scrapper. Preferably regen, or super reflexes. Ill bring out a spine/regen guide very soon. Anyway, your going to need impale, ripper, and you also will want to have quills turned off. You ened to make sure your impale is 6 slotted, 1 range 3 damage 2 acc. Theres your requirements, heres the juicy stuff. It also helps to have throw spines, but not neccesary


***NOTE*** this is best used by level 38-50 spine scrappers. best used in warburg.

Ok, basicly your main power here is going to be superjump or speed. preferably both, i like superspeed more though. your going to run at max range of impale and run around him as he runs after you. every once in awhile, run through him and hit a ripper. make sure to only use 1 melee attack though, others take too much time. if you perform thi socrrectly, you can run past him and still hit off a ripper. you may get hit, however, if you ra regen you cant be stunned and youll just bring it right back. mix throw spines and impale with a few rippers in between until you get him to low enough health that you can just run in and finish him. you may need instanst healing in this part.

If he runs, chace him down and try as best you can to hit impale. runners are hard to catch, but if you can slow him, it means he has his armor turned off to run. this is where you nail him. just catch him and build up + anything else youve got (Insps, w/e) and hit him as fast and as hard as possible. This works for most tanks, however it is best for stones, since its hard to run when there armor is on. its also great for embarissing them XD
