guys, if i were you i wouldnt run radar any more. it is easily downloadable at sourceforge. but the one i know that works is daocskilla2. i dont run radar but a RL friend does and it works fine for him. however, with the newest patch mythic has gotten slightly smarter then what we are used to. they now have a sort of packet sniffer detector of their own. as far as i can tell. all it seems to do, is paint, or mark select packets, that when sniffed by a 3rd party packet sniffer / analyzer such as radar, it puts a certain flag on the account. then, when mythic goes on one of their "sweeps" they simply go through and suspend / ban the accounts with said flags. That is what seems to make sence to me, and it would be the easiest to code onto the live servers without too much hassle, <shrug> just my 2 plat. see yall in game, -tain mid / tristan alb / bedevere ... have you seen my belly button? the bugger up an ran off.

Hmm, not really sure what radar programs actually do but if they just sniff the incoming packets (and mythic is utilizing some way of marking sniffed packets) and read them for information without needing actual game files it'd be easy to make an undetectable one. Use wirelesses security problems. Sniffing another wireless connection is comepletely undetectable if your utilizing passive sniffing. This option would just be annoying due to needing a second card that would need to sniff the wireless connection. But would make a radar program completely undetectable. This is all based on if what the above poster said is correct. No idea here, I personally feel that using hacking programs to get an edge over someone else in a game is sorta sad. Just lookin around on this site cause I found it interesting heh. Lata
