Play in windowed mode without having to download anything : DAOC Submissions

If you want to play in DAoC click No thankyou on login screen and click on the server you play on

When on character selection click options and there should be a tab enable windowed mode

You may have to restart DAoC

this is not an exploit in any way mate ... Mythic actually incorporated this into their code a few patches back around 1.5x or something around there. At first it seemd they coined this as a cheat for some reason, but then came to conclusions that not all people are hardcore gamers and like to check email and IM's once in a while, so they gave everyone the option of running windowed mode.

Yeah the windowed mode program you see around is very old.
It was needed before Mythic incorporated windowed mode into the game.
We all know you don't need the program anymore thanks though.
