there are now macros out there that buy things off of vender if below a certain price.

Cool, where can we get one of these macros?

This is not really an exploit - it is a work-around to a stupid situation that Sony set up in order to keep "good" and "evil" cities separated. It is a way of improving the game play in spite of Sony's determination to make everything more difficult than it has to be.

This whole setup wil be unnecessary after the new expansion goes live in September, since they will be adding "neutral" banks that allow chas from both factions to use the same shared bank slots.

Kind of a misleading title. The idea isn't to avoid the 40% markup on the fence but to transfer items to characters of opposing alignment. What fool would have ever decided to transfer this way by putting a high price on the item? Once you realize the fence can be used to transfer the low price kind of suggests itself.

I totally agree. The topic was misleading. Perhaps if the topic can be edited it needs to be a little more clear. Othewise, I think this is info people already know about.

Or you could do it without paying anything, buy the item from qeynos and transfer the item Via guild bank, no fee's and just log in and out. :)
