I am just curious as to what is the best way to 2box if you are soloing but want to have a second toon on another account follow you around and fight with you and heal you. Is it best to 2box on one PC, or to have 2 computers? If 2 computers, how do you get around only being allowed to lock Xunleashed to 1 computer?
What is the best way to 2box if you want a bot to follow you around???

there are 2 guides in the Vanguard forums fro dual boxing. One is to use winxp and dual log. Meaning you open EQ2, then switch user and then log in the other char, and use a bot with memory hacks to follow your other toon. The other way is similar with using virtual servers.
I am not certain, but I think crappysoftware allows you to dual log (or more instances depending on your system resources), but the cost is pretty high.

It's actually not that bad, use Ultrabot and then setup tell macro's to tell your other PC what to do via in game. You only need xylo running on a single pc to dual box and that's the one that controls the char on the PC you aren't currently playing.
You can also set it up for automatic healing and such, read through the ini file to get a idea of how to setup your char.

The best way to two box is not use a third party script, as it is easy to do without it. Two boxing on a single CPU with a graphics card that can have two screens, is easiest. Open up two sessions of EQ2 and have one run on each screen. Use autofollow and set up you hotbars so you can easily use your mouse between both screens.
If you have two CPU's then use a keyboard splitter between both machines and again set up your hot keys correctly.
Now if you three box or more, or if you want to auto play (for power leveling tradeskills or farming) then Tault is king.
