Here is what you do.
All you have to do is buy the level 10 scholar book, (or outfitter, etc) and just scribe it.
It takes 55 in arcana to scribe it. It takes 60 in arcana to scribe a level 11 book, etc.
So get those missing recipes now!
Just get a friend to buy you the book and you can have all the missing peices and recipes you need!
I had a major problem as an outfitter, cuz i did not have the stroma oils, well no longer!

Must not be many crafters yet past level 10. That or you have no problem finding those missing supplies from brokers, etc. This beats that hands down.

I bought the Vol 10 Scholar book & Outfitter book as well & it would not let me use them. I am guessing that someone would have to buy them for me & then give it to me for me to be able to use it?
I would appreciate any input. Those stroma oils are driving me nuts!!
Also does anyone know which vol waxed leather & sagecloth is in?

In any case you can scribe the essentials book 10 if you have skill level 55.
The way you do it is to level up your artisan to lvl 10 and above. Thus it will say 105 % to lvl 10. Then you pick a class and return to do one crafting and you ding 10. In that case you have skill lvl 55 and can scribe the other books.
However if you pick your class before you reach lvl 10 then you wont be able to scribe them

Then that's a change they made because I scribed the other books after I had already selected my class.

I Scribed Scholar essiantials level 10 when I was a level 11 outfitter. And that was yesterday. so you can still do that. You just need to have the skill levels required for it.
I've leveled most my my skill from level 8-11 on the chemistry table, so I guess that allowed me to have enough skill to scribe it.
