When I launch EQ2 using the "Play" button on XU, log in, and get to the splash screen, a LaunchPad.exe process is left in memory. I've ended up with as many as 8 of these processes going at once.
There is no evidence anywhere on the desktop/taskbar of these processes being active (e.g., a launchpad window); it's only in the process viewer.
When I run EQ2 without XU, it kills the process properly.
I also have had a problem lately with minimized EQ2 windows CTD when I restore them, but only when I'm running XU.

Sombody correct me if Im wrong, but I belive that 'launchpad.exe' in this particular case is in fact XU disguising itself as the launchpad to avoid detection should SOE decide to take a peek at what processes you have loaded into memory.

I think it disguises itself as xxxxx.dll, where x is a random lower case letter.
In either case, something that should be killed is not (it stays around when I exit XU, too).
