Price Increase? : EverQuest 2 General Discussions

I just renewed my EQ2 subscription and discovered that to add the extra features to my account (the EQ players tracking, guild stuff etc) it now costs $2-99 each instead of 99c.

Though it seems you can still get the cheap price if you order them AFTER you complete your subscription.

I'm not sure which price is correct but watch out for what you are being charged before you click to accept.

the 2.99 was supposed to be the bundle price if you take all 4 (you save 0.98). If you pick them a-la-carte they are 0.99 each.

Nope this was different... was $2.99 each and $8.99 for the bundle.

I realised it's because it was a 3month subscription (3x99 each)..... BUT.......

I declined the extras then as I was completing the form asked again for them and they came up at 99c even though I was still on a 3month subscription.

So rather than being a price increase it's a mistake that's allowing money saving.

(This was done on 3/13 by the way so there's a chance it may be active still)
