I never used to have this problem but since the last big patch its a problem now. I load the game the task bar is there just fine, I bring up the blue popup on top of a player persona window like before and run any script ok. However as soon as I run anything I can never again switch to other scripts or even close the popup anymore. Only thing that works is F12 to stop the current script. However then it wont close I have to restart the game. Even that little yellow text that comes up saying a script is running permanently sticks on my screen. I have no idea why its not reponsive any longer anyone have any thoughts or ideas? I have alrenate hooking checked but that is how it always has been and no windowed or dialog even though I play windowed. I have tried both way and the pop up becomes unresponsive after any script fires off.

Thanks for any input

Install the EQ2Crafter plugin. It automatically checks the compatibility mode checkbox via code.

Otherwise, if you dont have that plugin installed, you have to remember to check the compatiblity checkbox EVERY time.

Thanks Wyvernx,

However that did not work I uninstalled and installed the crafter plugin again to see if it would help but it did not. As soon as I start one script the taskbar no longer is available at the bottom and the popup is as if its not there cause the mouse clicks go through it. The scripts run fine this is just annoying if I want to stop and then start I am forced to log out.

Well found out what was wrong and fixed it. Seems I installed Mcfee virus scanning software and it seemed to be the cause, for once I uninstalled it the pop up is now responsive in game again. Any ideas why it may interrfere? Perhaps its checking scripting or something and causing a problem. Anyhow thanks for the suggestions and quick answers :)
