That is a normal message for eq2. I get it too.

I dont think so as far as the graphics resolution. Make sure your desktop is set to 32-bit colors.

Have you tried windowed and full screen?

All of your logs still show the TCPIP packet sniffer being checked.

Be sure to UNCHECK it, and MAKE sure that this line does NOT appear in yoru logs:

01/25/05 07:16:17 PM CXUWinInput::Initialize()

Well, it looks like I may have found my problem. I am running this on an AMD processor as well. Just saw the other thread that others are having problems with AMD. So I will keep an eye on that thread and see if anything comes up.

All AMD issues have been fixed with the EQ2 Crafter version 2.3

Interesting, that' s the same error I'm getting, I thought it might have something to do with my dual monitor setup but it seems not. I have SP2 as well and all drivers and DX updated. I did get it to work but I have to start EQ2 in full screen, I have had it dump after switching to windowed but it seems if I switch to windowed by hitting Alt Enter instead of moving the mouse to the other monitor and letting the focus change, it doesn't dump. I'm still playing with it and hoping for the best.

Well, I finally got the crafter to work... bought a new PC. My old PC was AMD and I couldnt get it to run but seems to be working fine with my intel.

Now I just need to figure out what I want to do with it.

I'm gonna keep digging with the old amd system I have and see if I can get it to crash with some of the new scripts coming out.

But yea, AMD takes too many shortcuts that are not good and it not a very sound processor. Cheaper does not always mean better.
