I'm still running 2.06 i havn't had chance to work out my issues with 3.. but 2.06 was working fine.

One thing i do though is config the default zone in the .ini to the zone i'm in. So i don't know if the script is detecting the zone or just reading my default zone selection.

I am not sure what you are looking for here then, it doesnt appear to be logging anything when i try to load it, it just says press f12 to stop... yet does nothing. Then when i do stop it you cant start it again unless you restart xu and eq2.

What can i do to help you help me get this working.

I have to admit it is a great release. Got it to run around just fine and I love the improvements. However, I am having one minor issue. After a night of harvesting, I found that it was not harvesting alluvium ore, musty roots, or animal dens. Everything else had no problem. I triple checked the names and they match exactly to what they are in the game. I also made sure that the trivial harvest was set so that it will harvest things that my skill is trivial in. The 2.06 version does harvest those nodes, however doesn't have the new features that I like in the new version. Any idea on what could be the problem? Thanks a ton but great job overall.

You really got me on this one, download this and overwrite your copy and see what the log says the zone is and let me know.

The default zone section should be taken out, it is no longer used.

Hmm, what zone is this? The nodes don't sound familiar to me, I'll try it myself if I can, if you let me know the zone.

Have you watched it work? does it try to harvest them and mark them bad or just ignore them all together? Any extra info you can think of to tell me will help me determine what the problem is. Does your log say that it is going to try to havest them? does it later say that it's trivial and will stop? I can't research this for you, you have to supply the information since I am not having the problem. Maybe post your log? I have harvested thousands of nodes and not seen this problem yet.

I think I have found the problem, I will offer 2 solutions. First you can remove the spaces after the names of the resources in the INI, second you can find this line in the HarvestBot_INI file at line 283:

Resources(Index,1) = cStr(oINI.GetVal(zonename, resources(Index, 1), "UnDefined"))

and replace it with this line:

Resources(Index,1) = trim(cStr(oINI.GetVal(zonename, resources(Index, 1), "UnDefined")))

Either solution should work if I am right about the problem, both solutions have been implimented for the next version of the bot.

Please let me know the result.

I seem to have a problem with the harvester not declaring the resources as unreachable.. It will sit there and try to continue harvesting.. anyone else having this problem?

Also another issue I have found is that when you get stuck, the 3.10 harvester walks you backward far.. and I mean far.. The stuck algorithm you've used in 2.05 worked fine.. Dont think you needed to change it at all.. However the 3.10 one will walk you backwards for about 20 seconds, rather then a smooth circle motion 2.05 did..

Oh, and to further clarify the post above, if there was a node stuck in a tree for example, it would sit there for a couple minutes still attempting to harvest it, would move on to another node or two, then come back to it and still continue to harvest it for a few minutes, etc etc.... Never had this problem in the past, however it seems to be affecting 2.05 and 3.10..

Very strange.. for some reason it can't see what zone it's in.

Yea, and I look at the code, it get's the zone name from the service and checks it's length, that's it, there is no room for me to have done something to the zone name to mess it up. The service on your machine isn't returning it correctly. I would consider a reinstall of the service or XU

Can you repost a new version with some of the numerous fixes you have done? Or can you help me to get mine to work. I did all the things in the post and configured the file. But when i click start it does nothing. Nothing shows up in any log file either.

I rarely use the buff casting part because I stop and start it so often doing debugging/tweeking but it has been so stable for me that I have started using it and could not figure out why it was so slow. I determined that the checks in castbuffs and the sending of keys, etc was quite time consuming and am reworking that routine to get the speed back. Almost done with that, when it's complete I'll post a new version with all the fixes.

Anyone with bugs or feature requests, now is the time, I want this to stabalize pretty soon so get your requests in now. If you think you've told me before and it's not in then repost or put them in bugtrack where they will NOT get missed.

New release is slightly delayed, one of the 'botlike' things that harvesters do is stop and scan, then move then stop and scan. I'm removing that for the next version. Should be soon but servers just went down so ...
