Hmm, I dont really beleave in the "Red Flag" thing.
I mean, if the server detects the so called "Red Flag".
Which means you have violated a rule, then Im sure a GM
would pop up within the next 10 minutes lol.
I dont think they would even wait untill you violate any other rules.
the POS tool kicks !@#$%^&*. I use it allot, everyday for a few months now.
Never been caught, even talked my !@#$%^&* out of a bad situation after
a Gil seller in korolokka tunnel caught me. Told him he has nice items
etc, and he was like "Thanks" and we just talked, and i guess
he never bothered to call a GM on me cause i never came back.
*whew* lol.

Anyway, 1 of my friends used POS and that was funny cause he was
on a chocobo and he teleported to Simurgh Camp. Right infront of
the gil sellers. This was funny and he did it on purpose and got a
72 hour suspension. he didnt mind.
He got back on the game after the 72 hours and then he used
the POS tool again (mining in NewMovalpolis) and i was talkin to him
and all of a sudden "Your tell was not received" 3x in a row..
i did: /sea all (name) and he was not displayed. checked friends list and
it said "<Server Name>", he came on msn and i said: $@%@#....
So he will probaby now get a permanent ban lol. There was just
1 person in the zone when he was mining though, and he doesnt
know if he saw him teleport. And i dont think he saw.. for some reason.
Anyway, he got sent to jail and im waiting to see what happens next.

Also my other friend got caught using POS tool. but he used it in a dumb
way by just while in PT teleporting around lol.
He just started using it 4 days ago and got a 89 hour suspension.
(wtf? 89 hours for only 4 days of use? the other guy used it for a month and got only 72 hours.. hmm?)

So i dont really think there is such a think as a "red flag" cause then
that would be strange.

All i can say is, be carefull when using it, and i recommend when getting
caught once(you most likely wont get banned). But dont try it again afterwards lol.

Ill update ya'll on what happened to my friend that got caught the 2nd time in the same week lol.

I heard somewhere else that they've been monitoring promys closely lately because of people using POS to solo ENMs. Otherwise, I don't think they really don't care unless someone tattles on you. GMs can be just as lazy as we can be.

This is true. As I read elsewhere, keep in mind that GMs are not the only SE people that look into the game. Techs and game balance analysts have access to any part of the playable server--they can watch people fight the Promy ENMs and see what strategies people are using. They can watch people exp to see how balanced the jobs are. Eventually, these employees will find people cheating, thinking nobody will catch them.

One solitary person at a spire inside the battlefield should raise some alerts. For this reason, "private" areas (e.g. battlefield areas/dynamis/sky god islands) should be considered closely monitored by SE staff. Using hacks in these areas is unwise.

They are starting to look at people who are in BC or ENM solo, who are not in pt. I know in first person experience. I was in a full alliance doing MY THING for 2 hours and nothing happened last night. On the other hand, my mule got nailed being solo in Promy ENM.

Note: Also got nailed in Boneyard Gully ENM, Mineshaft ENM and Bearclaw Pinnacle ENM, solo. It's just too obvious when you are not in PT and decided to solo them :/ Lucky they are all my mule account!

I dont think they check for you being solo. Before the Weakness nerf I used to solo the Holy Cow ENM without any programs no problem, never had a GM talk to me.

hmm.. not in pt, would it be undetectable if u got a friend to join your pt, and he disbanded leaving u as party leader? then ud still be detected as being in a party even if u are alone..?
