Mining In Ifrit's : FFXI General Discussions

Okay, I need money since everything for my WHM I need has gone ip 90-150k (i'm serious)... PPL said WHMS can make a lot of money in Ifrit's by mining there...but uh...I hear adaman ore is what makes 'em the money but....What's the percent of getting one? Out of like 100 tries?

Unknown. It's usually 1 per 2 hrs. ( for me.. when i still used to mine.)

Umm I would say 1/50. It is rare and the more expensive one is 1/100.

easier to farm Kindred seals and do KS30

lol i exploited that thing b4 where u get warped to ifrit cauldron and started mining ^^.

But after that was over i went as ninja (mijin gakure if anything) and was mining got 5 adaman and 2 orichulum.Now i can't do that anymore cause the pirces drop in Diabolos ; ;

I was in bastok markets the other day and noticed a bazaar had 30 orichalcum ores. Obviously this player was duping or mined for a year =P

is there waypoints for POS for the mining areas like in Newton?

Yes if you are able to make it From Tele Yhoat to the Ifrit Cauldron. But once thier everything will kill you. Not to mention the everything in Yhoat will kill you too. But hey if you want to waste your time go for it.

ifrit is harder to mine as it is multi level so you cant pos around as easily. also bst's xp in a spot where 3 of the points are and most every other place people are passing by so the chances of getting caught are much higher
