Bypass Viral Deflection : FPS / MMORPG / RTS Discussion

Here's how: First, you need hacker abilities that you can activate anytime, and not just outside of combat. IE: Logic Barrage 4.0, Logic Blast 3.0, Logic Cannon 2.0, etc. What you do is you have to get into close combat with them (interlock) and use your hacker attacks there. When you use your hacker abilities, your ability will hit -- regardless of your opponents viral deflection, but will only hit if you win the random close combat roll (based on combat tactics). Useful for taking on pesky hacker mobs that have high viral deflection. It works for pvp too, but you usually have to hit them with a attack that will lower their combat tactics, if they are around your level. You could alternatively use buffs to raise your combat tactics.
