I'm not sure if im the first but farts mcgee is close to mine and im not sure but heres goes nothing.
Well i got one of the quest to go kill shugloth i go in there kill it dont take the quest item run back to town abandon quest doit again
Ican do this in about 3 minutes
do not ask me if this works for anything else i dont know im just telling you how it is

EDIT okay basically you start quest you kill boss monster you go back abandon quest (should log you off) log back on.

Shulgoth is farmable no matter what. You can finish the quest and still farm him....or you can not finish the quest and farm him. Although, there is no need to abandon the quest everytime you go back, just reset the instance.

Yeah he's always there, in fact one of the AP quest is to kill him 100 times, so he never poofs, always there to farm at will, one of the few, the new stonehenge bosses are farmable though you need the 5 essences.
